LIFE CAPT-TILE at TECNA 2026

Participation in TECNA 2026 provided an important opportunity to present LIFE CAPT-TILE directly to professionals from a sector strongly focused on technological innovation and the evolution of production processes. TECNA is one of the leading international events for the ceramics and surfaces industry, bringing together companies, manufacturers and professionals from across the entire value chain.

For Officine Smac, participation in the exhibition therefore had a twofold purpose: on the one hand, to strengthen dialogue with operators from the ceramic sector and, on the other, to promote LIFE CAPT-TILE among a professional audience closely connected to the project’s potential fields of application.

A dedicated LIFE CAPT-TILE corner was set up within the Officine Smac stand, providing visitors with a dedicated space to learn more about the project and discuss its activities.

During the four days of the exhibition, several communication and promotional activities were carried out. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the objectives and goals of LIFE CAPT-TILE, explore the main features of the initiative and take a closer look at the roof tiles developed within the project.

The dedicated area also provided visitors with LIFE CAPT-TILE information brochures, helping to disseminate information about the project beyond the direct interactions taking place during the exhibition.

The presentation of the products and communication materials helped connect the environmental and technical aspects of LIFE CAPT-TILE with their practical application in the roof tile sector, highlighting the project’s potential to promote innovative and sustainable solutions across the value chain.

One of the most significant aspects of the participation was the opportunity to engage directly with roof tile manufacturers, which represent particularly relevant stakeholders for the project’s future development and potential applications. Among the companies connected to this sector is the Wienerberger Group, a global leader in roof tile production, which has acquired the entire ITALCER Group.

The meetings held during the exhibition provided an opportunity to introduce LIFE CAPT-TILE to potential stakeholders across the value chain, generating interest and encouraging dialogue on innovation, sustainability and the potential applications of the solutions developed within the project.

In this context, participation in TECNA represented not only a communication activity, but also an opportunity to bring the project closer to industrial stakeholders, increasing awareness of LIFE CAPT-TILE activities and creating opportunities for direct discussion with companies involved in roof tile production.

TECNA therefore provided a particularly relevant setting for increasing the visibility of the project, reaching qualified stakeholders and raising awareness of LIFE CAPT-TILE activities and results within the roof tile value chain.
